Comix Influx Snip-Its!

Comix Influx Snip-Its are the a brand new way of reading Comix Influx translations directly within the original comics. The translations are formatted so that with a little snipping and slicing, the translations are slipped into the pages of the original comic unobtrusively.

This is how to transform your printed Snip-It into the slips to put into the comic.

1) First check that the translation for the comic you want to read is available on Comix Influx. You can find what’s on the site by browing or searching.

1) Next obtain a copy of the comic you want to read, from your favourite comic store or library.

3) Go back to the translation on Comix Influx and click on the “Print Snip-It!” link on the right-hand side of the page.

4) Print the PDF file that is downloaded to your computer.

5) Take the first page, and fold it down the middle along the thin grey line.

6) Cut between the printed boxes with a pair of scissors, giving up to eight pairs of page translations (depending on how verbose the comic is).

7) Take the first translation pair, and find the relevant pages in the comic.

8a) Depending on the layout of the pages, either insert the translation directly between two pages…

8b) ...or fold it over the page of the comic.

9) Repeat for all the translations pairs!

10) Read the comic with your Comix Influx translation directly alongside! Go tell your friends!
